When times are tiring and the light at the end of the tunnel starts to fade we all need someone who will come along side us and say “You can do it!  Don’t give up!”

Admit it,  every now and then, what you really need is someone to come along and give you a good kick in the backside to prompt you get up, get out and get done what you need to do. 

Worship Reality #4:  Worship is formative.  We cannot enter into the presence of God and leave without being changed by the experience. 

Worship Reality #3: Worship is expressionate (a passionate expression).  When we limit our worship to a series of  purely intellectual activities we miss the energy and invigoration that being in the presence of God Almighty brings.

Worship Reality #2 – Worship is Inspired by Awe: Worship is meant to be reverent.  When we gain the proper perspective on who we are in relation to who God is we are unavoidably filled with a sense of awe.

Worship Reality #1: Worship Creates Community.  Although worship does happen on an individual and private level there is something special that happens when people get together to worship God.

 The Word (Jesus) became flesh and in doing so taught us the great lengths that God is willing to go to in His attempt to reach out to us.

 Jesus washes the disciples feet and in doing so teaches us the great honor of serving others.

Jesus feeds 5000 men with a small child’s lunch and in doing so teach us that God can turn the little we have to offer into something incredible. Then, Jesus takes a stroll across the lake with Peter and in doing so teaches us the importance of relying on God to keep our head above […]

When we are reborn in Christ we are adopted into God’s family which not only means we will find ourselves on the victorious side in the end, but also that Satan and the forces of evil in this world have no power over us.
