A light shines out. It pierces darkness. It illuminates what is hidden. It marks direction and reveals the path.

In a body, every part is important and has it’s own purpose. When something good or bad happens to one part of the body, the rest of the body feels it. When one part of the body is weak and sick or strong and healthy it impacts the rest of the body.

Reflections on Sabbatical and visiting other churches.

Jesus came into a house and “it was heard that He was in the house.” Who were those who told others about Jesus being around? It was those who had previously had an encounter with Jesus. You can’t tell other people about Jesus if you haven’t encountered Him yourself.

Jesus explained the parable of the farmer scattering seeds about tests of faith and having good roots in good soil. He afterwards told His disciples to come with Him to the other side, yet when their own test of faith came, they became afraid. It seems the soil of their hearts was not prepared. Luke […]
