If you have ever wished that you could be something more that you are, you should know that God’s desires is to transform you into something dramatically different (and better) than you could ever acheive on your own.

A look at the way Jesus related to different groups of individuals and the application of that example to our FISH Group plans for 2012-2013 

An examination of our need for community and God’s plan to meet that need.  The church is designed to provide people with a place to belong and give them a part to play in the mission of the kingdom.

God’s design is for there to be community in the church, but is desire is for the church to be in the community.  See how Jesus spent most of His time with the people the religious elite try to avoid and ask “How do we follow that example in the 21st Century?”

 Jesus turns water into wine and in doing so teaches us the importance of celebrating life and how the little things really DO matter.

Jesus has a late night visit with a pharisee and in doing so teaches us the value of a fresh start

Jesus has an afternoon chat with a Samaritan woman and in doing so teaches us how to see people through God’s eyes.

Jesus encounters a woman caught in adultery then writes in the sand and in doing so teaches us that we are all desperately in need of God’s grace and forgiveness.

Jesus heals a blind man and in doing so teaches us about the things that are most important to the heart of God.

Jesus has his feet annointed by Mary and in doing so teaches us what things are truly the most valuable in this life.
